Number 1: Do you have a word that you just CANNOT spell? Like as in EVERY SINGLE time you type it, the spell-check red line automatically underlines the word?! For me, that word is DEFINITELY. I just cannot seem to get that one down. I can never figure out where the E goes and why there's not an A in there somewhere. ha. Whats your word?
Number 2: In my recent adventures into mommyhood, (and yes, "mommyhood" got the big red spellcheck underline, but I don't care, I made it up I guess!), I realized that when you're really tired at night and don't feel like washing your face, you can just use a baby wet wipe to take off all your makeup and feel a little fresher before hitting the hay. Why do people say "hit the hay?" What are we, pigs in a barn? I totally got that saying from my mom, I find myself saying a LOT of things my mom says! Anyway, back to the wet wipes. I've been doing some experimenting with them and have found that these ones smell AMAZING (yes, like CUCUMBER and Green TEA!) and are great for washing the day's grime off your face:

When I was in college, a roomate turned me onto MAC makeup remover wipes and I have now come to realize that they were probably just Walmart wet wipes wrapped up in a nice MAC package and marked up to cost you WAY TOO MUCH money!
Number 3: When ShopRite has a sale on V05 and other random shampoos and conditioners, dont' be tempted to stock up on these .67 cent bottles thinking to yourself, "OH WOW, I'm totally saving tons of money and now I won't have to buy shampoo OR conditioner for like a YEAR!" Instead, think to yourself, "EW.....this stuff is going to make my hair grimey and isn't even worth .67 cents. The least I could do for my beautiful hair is spend like $2 on the Suave knock-off stuff. Or better yet, go WILD and SPLURGE on some Pantene Pro-V. hahahaha, yeah right - who am I kidding - just go for the middle-of-the-road Suave." Because be forewarned, I'm about to throw out like 10 bottles of V05 because my hair is disgusting.
Number 4: My son is the light of my life and I just love being a mom. Here are a couple cute pics of him:
Due to bathtub technical difficulties, bathies was held in the kitchen sink tonight - RED LOVED IT! |
He couldn't stop touching the water coming from the sprinkler faucet. |
Can you believe he's 10 months old? Only 2 more ties left to use. :( My baby is going to be a toddler - eeeek! |
2 of Red's favorite things: his baby animal touch and feel book (thanks Barbara!) and blowing bubbles with mommy. :) |
